How It Works

From install to a stronger profile in five steps

  1. Add the extension to Chrome

    Install MODNCV LinkedIn Optimizer from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.

  2. Sign in to MODNCV

    Open the extension and sign in with your MODNCV account. It stays connected for seven days at a time.

  3. Open your own LinkedIn profile

    An Optimize with MODNCV button appears on your profile. It only works on your own profile, never on anyone else’s.

  4. Click Optimize with MODNCV

    The extension reads your profile, including every role and skill, and the analysis opens in a panel beside it in seconds.

  5. Copy the rewrites into LinkedIn

    Copy any rewrite and paste it into your profile yourself. Nothing on LinkedIn changes until you do. Save the report to your MODNCV dashboard to come back to it.

Google Chrome on a computer. Not on Chrome? You can still optimize your profile by uploading it as a LinkedIn PDF.
No. The Optimize with MODNCV button only appears on your own LinkedIn profile, and MODNCV checks that the profile belongs to the account you signed in with.
No. The extension never edits or posts anything. You review each rewrite, copy the ones you like and paste them into LinkedIn yourself.
The text on your own profile: your headline, About, experience, education and skills. It also opens your full experience and skills pages in the background so nothing is missed.
The extension is free to install. Each analysis uses Mcoins from your MODNCV account.
Usually 5 to 15 seconds. You can run up to 10 analyses an hour, so re-check your profile after you update it.
They appear in the panel beside your profile. Choose Save & View in MODNCV to open the full report, and find it again later in your MODNCV dashboard.
